To date, the company has procured three dollars of private investment for every dollar of the initial government funding, highlighting the ongoing private interest in ARC Canada. “We have applied for Federal Strategic Innovation Funding to advance our initiative,” says Mr. Sawyer, “As a New Brunswicker, I fully understand the current economic climate of our Province, but let me be clear, our next phase is dependent on an established federal allocation fund for technology development which will open opportunities for further private funding, like any other industry.
With more than 37 years of combined nuclear power industry experience in Canada, Mr. Sawyer has been involved in both the operation of commercial nuclear power plants and in the regulation of the Canadian nuclear power industry.
